We had a terrific Christmas; especially since it was Little Sister’s first!
Big Sister’s class put on a Christmas show right before the holidays. It was fantastic!!
As always, we spent Christmas Eve with my husband’s family…
…Christmas morning at home…
…And Christmas afternoon with my family.
Santa was good to all of us!

Outside of my parents house stood a big evergreen tree.
It needed to be replaced. And it so happened to be late November.
The top of the tree was perfectly fine and thought that it would make an amazing Christmas tree:)

On Friday, Little Sister turned 3 months old!!
Unfortunately three marks also marked the end of my maternity leave:( However, lucky for me I can ease back into work as I have two weeks of vacation for the Christmas holidays!!
She has made the transition back to work a little easier by continuing to sleep thru the night! And I greatly THANK her for that:) At her three month check-up, the doctor suggested that I put her to bed awake. She has been such a trooper – only crying for a minute and then passing out.
It is amazing to see her light up when her Big Sister is around. Hopefully they will be besties:)
As Thanksgiving quickly approaches, Big Sister’s school celebrated with a Thanksgiving Show. The kids sang a few songs for the parents and grandparents and enjoyed a feast afterwards (they made some of the food)!! Still on maternity leave, I was able to attend!!
Big Sister’s class dressed as pilgrims for the show. The teachers said she was front and center since “she actually sings”.
Little Sister was also in attendance but (thankfully) slept thru the whole thing!
Big Sister adores her teacher!! I was especially thankful that this dress fit her for the third year in a row:)
These two sisters – or two sasters – really enjoy being around each other. Little Sister always gives her biggest smiles when Big Sister is around.
Hopefully that doesn’t change with time:)
