Our Disney Vacation – Part 5

On our last and final day at Disney, since our flight was in the evening, we were able to upgrade our tickets (I think it cost us an extra $10 a person) and head back to the Magic Kingdom one last time!! We ran around and did a bunch of rides with relatively no waits (thank you fastpass+!!). The weather was beautiful and we had just enough time to do everything we wanted to.

We headed back to our hotel, grabbed our luggage and waited for Disney’s Magical Express headed for the airport.

I love Disney! We had a great time!! I am already planning our next trip in a few months:)

Our Disney Vacation – Part 4

Our last full day in Disney turned out to be a beautiful sunny day (after the rain it was nice change)!! We headed to the Magic Kingdom:)

One of the highlights of our whole trip was our FASTPASS reservations to Fairytale Princess Hall to see Anna and Elsa from Frozen. I had been reading online before our trip and without the FASTPASS, the wait was almost 5 hours?!?! I can’t imagine standing in line for that long, so I was extremely besides myself when I was able to get all of us FASTPASS reservations.

We waited about 10 minutes for this photo….it was amazing!!

Afterwards we headed over to Be Our Guest for lunch. I have to say that this was not one of my favorite meals. I was able to get fastpass reservations for this restaurant but the food itself wasn’t great and we didn’t get to see the Beast. I would like to try this during dinner time but that will have to wait for our next trip (which I have already started to plan for!!).

After a quick ride on the carousel with Pop, we headed back to the room to rest up for the evening.

We headed over to Epcot for a trip around the countries. Since it was the flower and garden festival, each country had similar food and drink booths like they do during the wine and food festival.

During our first stop in the UK, we met up with Mary Poppins. She was so sweet and talked with my little one for what seemed like a long time.

Some of our other stops along the way included France, Japan, Italy and of course America. My favorite was definitely the mozzarella in Italy:) Unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy the different drinks, but I was told they were all really delicious!! Maybe next time!

We ended the night watching the fireworks and then headed back exhausted to {sadly} pack:(

Our Disney Vacation – Part 3

I think our breakfast with the Disney Junior characters was by far my little ones favorite meal! We ate at Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood Studios. They had a breakfast buffet – I made a late reservation to be sure we had enough time to get there.

That day Sofia, Jake, Bob the Builder and Doc McStuffins all stopped by our table.

We spent the rest of the day in Hollywood Studios before heading back to our resort. One of our favorite rides was Toy Story Mania! It was a lot of fun!

That night we had dinner Yachtsman Steakhouse in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. It was A-Mazing!! By far, one of our favorites!!

Like many of the restaurants at Disney, Yachtsman was VERY kid friendly! My little one colored before dinner (in her beautiful Belle dress made by her Nana)…

And was treated to a special “Paint Your Own” Dessert (made of chocolate)!!

After dinner, our princess treated us to a Let It Go dance:) As you can probably tell, she is very shy….

Our Disney Vacation – Part 2

The plan the second day was to go to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique in Downtown Disney…however, my little peanut was too excited to go on rides for that! I cancelled our reservations and made another little girl VERY happy!

We started off the day with breakfast at the Cape May Café in Disney’s Beach Club. We met Minnie, Goofy and Donald – and they were all in their swim gear!!

Next stop…EPCOT!! It was SO convenient to just walk over to the entrance!! We spent the whole day there on rides, stopping in Mexico for guacamole and margaritas and dinner was with the princesses in Akershus in Norway. I like booking dinners with characters, especially the princesses, because it saves us from standing on all the character lines during the day. Unfortunately, my little one is usually very excited to eat much, but we make the most of it.

The boat ride in Norway was also a huge hit since “This is where Anna and Elsa are from” 🙂 I think we went on it 5 times before dinner alone….

The following day we headed over to the Magic Kingdom as soon as we woke up and had a quick bite to eat in our hotel.

The day started off dry, but right after our first ride the rain started coming down…and it didn’t stop!!

We made the most of it and did mostly the “indoor” rides like Ariel and Beauty and the Beast. At the Beauty and the Beast show, my little one was even able to be one of the “dishes”…she really loved that!!

For dinner that night we went back to Epcot (since they had Extra Magic Hours) and ate at Coral Seas. The restaurant was very cool with a huge fish tank in front of us!!

After dinner we were able to ride Soarin’ a few times which ended up being one of our favorites!! We headed back to the hotel – exhausted – but ready to do it all again tomorrow!!
