Our oldest, Big Sister, is headed off to Kindergarten! How is that possible? I feel like we brought her home from the hospital (scared sh*tless at being responsible for a tiny human) just the other day!! And tomorrow is her first full day as a Kindergartner!!?!
Earlier this week was Open House. She was just so excited to go and meet her teacher, see who was in her class and start being a “Big Kid”.
Today was transition day. Again, she was SO excited. She woke up early. Got dressed quickly. Ate breakfast. Let me brush out her hair….without fussing (this was a HUGE deal)!! Smiled for a few pictures. And we were off.
When they called her teacher’s name – she ran off without hesitation. The first one to stand in line.
I know she is ready for this next part of life, but me…not so much!
It does go by fast, so hang on with both hands! This is a huge step in her life, and so exciting! We are sitting in the bleachers cheering you all on (although sometimes I feel as if I am on the field) and celebrating our fortune of having all of you in our lives!
